What is the 40-Day challenge?

The challenge for each member of the MenofPurity.com community is simply this: commit to 40 days of sexual purity. This means a man commits to focusing each day on the principles of purity found in God's Word. It means committing to resisting temptations and turning to the true Giver of life. It means connecting with other Men of Purity, and learning to encourage, support, and challenge one another along the way.

We have even made the challenge simple for men to take up. Every man who joins MenofPurity.com will be given resources to help him maintain his goal of 40 days of sexual purity (you must include a valid email address to receive these materials). Each man will be offered a downloadable packet of information with ideas and help for walking in daily purity. Our goal is to see men come together like never before, rallying around God's design for purity and letting our culture see that there is still hope for a lost and dying world.

How does the 40-Day challenge work?

We are seeking 1000 men in every state of the U.S. to stand up and make a 40-day commitment to biblical purity. For each man who joins we are offering our workbook, 40 Days of Purity, at a discount of $10 + S&H (normally $14.99 each). Click here for more information about the workbook.

In order to be included in our list of 1000 Men of Purity you must become a member of the Men of Purity site. All information provided on the membership list remains secure, not given to any third parties. You have the option of having just your first name or initials only for your listing on the 1000 Men of Purity web page (or you can just be added without being identified at all - just write No Name in the 'Name' field).

Eventually, we want 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, and many more Men of Purity in every state, country, & village to stand together and make a difference in communities around the world. It all starts with one man (YOU) making the decision to stand for purity...today!

Why 1000 Men?

When King David in the Old Testament wanted to make a BIG offering to God, he did it in lots of 1000. One thousand bulls, one thousand rams, and one thousand lambs, along with drink offerings and other sacrifices. Those are some big time sacrifices. Imagine how much work was involved in such offerings. Transporting the animals to be sacrificed. Preparing altars. Disposing of ashes. There needed to be teamwork, a unity of purpose, and a desire to please God.

One thousand of anything is a lot. So, we believe it is fitting for us to set a goal of gathering 1000 Men of Purity in every state in the U.S. Ultimately, we want 5000, 10,000, 25,000, and more Men of Purity in major cities throughout the United States.

The process is simple.

• You will receive a free information packet to help you on your 40-day journey.
